Due to the Winter Echo Ireland publication and other social media channels, we receive a lot of interest for this new MK2 version of the all popular IC-7300.

Demand and supply will be greatly unbalanced in the next few months.

So, we hereby offer you the possibility to get organised and reserve a unit that can be picked up at a 2026 IRTS HAM rally.

The deposit of 395 Euro guarantees you we will have a unit physically put aside until we meet. Balance of 1000 Euro payable in advance of shipping or pickup.

November 14 - Important update on YAESU FTX-1 orders and shipments.

We received 2025 last YAESU shipment of FTX-1 Field and Optima units. We received NO separate SPA-1 Amplifier units. Production is delayed until 2026.

We are now allocating Field and Optima versions from available stock. We might have SPA-1 units available from split Optima units.

We are simply doing everything we can to allocate all backorders. Thanks for understanding. Have a nice end of year.

A few remaining units from 2025 (December) first shipment are for sale/pre-order to IRTS members. We suggest you contact us to reserve a unit as soon as possible if you would like to receive your order from this 2025 shipment. December 12 update: We are now taking orders on a waiting list, first ordered, first served.

Why this page:

This webpage was made as an addendum to some articles and ads in the Echo Ireland IRTS publication. Some of you have met me personally in 2025 on an IRTS Rally or on IRTS Hamfest. What FOTA is about can be read on different pages on this website. This page is made because of the many requests I got from IRTS members.

There seems to be a difficulty and shortage of possibilities in buying HAM radio equipment in Ireland. While some of you have become a member and can benefit from our special offers, a general need for local and 'rightly priced' equipment was voiced multiple times. As with FOTA it is not my intention to now start a separate shop/webshop.

Some of you seem very interested in buying newly released radios such as the YAESU FTX-1 models or the Icom IC-7300 MKII. Specially for IRTS members we now will offer those 3 models at a special price. If more requests for different models are received I might consider offering them as well. Please be aware I am the Team Leader for activations by EI4POTA / EI4FOTA and H2F. My time and effort towards those activities will always have priority to selling equipment.

CLUB orders:

IRTS clubs are welcome to contact me with a 'grouped order', this can include a broader range of products. FOTA Ireland (EBDN Ltd.) and FOTA BV Belgium are resellers of all major brands. Through us YAESU products come with a 5 year warranty! Clubs that organise a rally in 2026 can contact me to bring along orders from/for members.

There is a team of people operating customer service for FOTA members and their orders. This service to IRTS members is my personal initiative. It will have to stay fun for me to continue this.
